Idaho...Our Crazy Trip

So, I took Jacob to Idaho to meet his other set of grandparents... what an adventure! Most of you know the long story it was to get to the actual state of Idaho, so to avoid re-telling the very long yet humorous story, I will just say that it was a typical start to any trip that I take when going to that lovely state. My dad has been insisting on my moving there, and though I know this would make him very happy, the answer is no. The city that my dad and Jan live in has grown a lot and it is very pretty there. The mountains that surround the valley they live in were covered in snow and made such a beautiful sight in the morning. The town has grown so much that it is even bigger then Newbury Park. It is sad, however, because all of the new houses are the same 5 colors, making the landscape somewhat uninteresting. Although our trip out was horrible, once there, we had a good time. Jake was able to wear his snow suit that was bought for him in Italy by his grandmother and he fell asleep in the snow! He also got to meet two of his great-grandmothers and many other family members. His second cousins loved him and couldn't stop playing with him. It was really cute because Jake is finally starting to really interact by talking and smiling with everyone around him. We spent 10 days in Idaho, despite the diet contest I am currently in, I gained 1.5lbs eating all my favorite meals and they were worth every calorie! We are glad to be home but, we were sad to leave everyone. Enjoy our pictures!!!
