Toy Time

Jake loves to pull his toys out everyday. He pulls them out, I put them away. It's our game! But since he is a midget he has learned to climb up and hang over the edge trying his hardest to reach the toys at the bottom and if he can't get them he hangs there upside down yelling into the box until I help out.

Pushmataha County Fair

The Pushmataha County Fair happens once a year to the city of Antlers, the city I work in. I took Jake, it was his first fair. First, we walked around to all the boothes and admired all the crafts and got stickers, a piggy bank, his first balloon and his face painted. It was supposed to be a smiley face on his cheek but he moved and it got messed up, oh well he's still cute! We went to look at all the livestock and Jake loved the animals! He was bright-eyed throughout the whole thing. He really loved petting the goats. We finished the day up with chocolate pie, oh yeah it was the best day of Jake's life! Enjoy our pictures!!

Oklahoma Update

Here's Jake! We have been in Oklahoma for 4 months now. We are adjusting well. I've started school, I hate my job, we have a house and my son is growing very fast! I think that covers it. We are having decent weather. The summer wasn't so bad and now it's getting cooler. I've been home to visit once and kristin is coming to see me next week. I spent a weekend in austing with my mom and Allie and Joe came to to visit last month. I still have plans of moving home, so far... Updates on Jake... He loves to say (or rather yell) da-da. He can also say ma-ma (as of two days ago), baby, ah-oh and bite. He loves food! He can crawl, sit up stand up and walk along furniture. Recently he has been letting go of things and standing for a second. he thinks he can walk, he's not afraid of trying to take a step, he'll get there soon. He looks more like his daddy everyday. he always smile and laughs, he loves to talk and play. He can listen very well and doesn't throw too many tantrums... anymore. He is the favorite at daycare and everyone says he is such a pretty baby. He's just perfect all around! ha-ha! I will be getting much better about the blog thing know that I have internet access, I promise! More to come very soon!
