Rooster Days in Broken Arrow

So Jake slept with me the night before Mother's day, which is a rarity in my house. Usually this isn't allowed, however, he was missing me and I enjoyed it! When he woke up he grabbed me by the face and said "Happy Mother's Day!, Where's my present?" After I explained that this day was all about ME he said I could share his present...

Anyway, we went to Rooster Days in Broken Arrow for the day and had a great time, though I'm sure why it's called Rooster Days, hummm...

Jake had so much fun. Now that he is getting older he enjoys this stuff so much more. He rode his first roller coaster. It was a bit fast and he was on it alone. At first He wasn't sure, actually he looked like he might throw up, by the end he wanted more.

He also got to go on one of the trampoline things that they buckle you into a harness so you can jump high. He loved it! He is such a dare-devil. He really did bounce really high up!

He's always loved animals and we got to see baby chicks hatch, and pet cows, goats, and sheep. He did not appreciate the baby goat eating his jacket though!

After he finished off an ENTIRE bag of Cotton candy he opted for the spider man face paint. Which let me tell you was hilarious because he thought that he was so cool and tough! He kept making scary faces and noises trying to BE spider man. He is such a boy! He couldn't pass up a window or mirror, he had to stare at himself. Bath time was traumatic this night as we had to say goodbye to Spider Jakey.
