Jake's First Christmas

Christmas was fun. We spent the night at Sharon's house. Sharon and I stayed up late to play Santa. I didn't put the fire engine together right the first two times and all I could think of was the real bike is going to be put together when it leaves the store! Jake wasn't all that interested in opening the presents but he did play with them instead of the paper. He loves his cars, legos, train and his ride-on fire engine. We really missed our family in California though. We hope that all of you had a great Christmas and have a safe New Year.

Bananas and Grass

Jake loves eating! He's begun to eat whole bananas almost every morning (no monkey jokes please). It is horribly messy to feed a baby bananas. He also enjoys grass, bark and bugs! The first picture is taken in Sharon's front yard. I was constantly pulling grass out of his mouth.
