Jake's First Birthday

Here are some pictures from Jake's party. He had a blast and of course got way too much stuff! All his friends were able to come. He enjoyed cake, ice cream and apples. The weather was too cold (26 degrees) so we had to scratch the pinata and just play inside. We had a great day.

Jake's First Ball Cap

Isn't he so cute? He was infatuated with ball caps over the past week so while I was visiting my mom in Austin we picked one up for him. He's not really into wearing it for long periods of time, he'd rather carry it around. I thought these pictures were super cute. He looks like a toddler! My baby is growing up. He walked all by himself through the store last night. It took us forever but I didn't want to discourage him. He'll be one in less then 1 week!

Oklahoma Fun...

We went 4-wheeling last weekend and had so much fun! Dakota (Sharons son) invited us over to his grandparents place. We spent the afternoon 4-wheeling on 400 hundred acres. The boys chased a llama for entertainment. I went with Kenny, Dakota, Kolton (Kenny's son) and Cari (?). We went through the cow pastures and mud holes and up and down hills. We had a blast, although we were soaking wet and full of mud! Next time I'll take Jake, he would have loved it!
Of course he'll have to stick to the Gator for now. That is what Kenny and I dubbed the old persons ride. I did spend a lot of the time on the back of the four-wheelers though. Dakota got mad at me for holding on to his waist, he wanted me to hold onto the bars behind me. What a cousin! He just about bounced me right off! I finally convinced Kenny to try it out and the boys dumped him off! He pretty much stuck to the Gator.
